Protein Tattoo is the projection of a short animation of motor proteins on the arm.
Proteins projected here are PDB 386U(kinesin motor domain) PDB5NVU(dynein). They are downloaded from Protein Data Bank. They are two of my favorite proteins, I guess.
The direction of the movement mimics their real motion, which means that dynein and kinesin move to the opposite direction in real life.Dynein and kinesin transport important things inside us to make us alive. But proteins are too small, people don’t see them. So I bring them to the surface.
I wish people get a more playful experience.
